Senior Specialist, Global External Communications , you will be pivotal in helping shape Goodyear’s global reputation through strategic media engagement and visibility initiatives. With a focus on media relations, you will help to amplify our brand presence worldwide. In this role, you’ll manage high-profile speaking opportunities and corporate awards, ensuring alignment with Goodyear’s brand narrative and strategic priorities. Your work will elevate our leadership voice and showcase business achievements on a global stage.
What You’ll Do
Lead in-house media outreach efforts to promote Goodyear’s corporate story, business milestones and leadership perspectives. Cultivate relationships with key media outlets and journalists to drive consistent, positive coverage.
Identify, secure and help manage strategic speaking opportunities for Goodyear executives at global industry events, conferences and forums. Ensure messaging aligns with corporate priorities and enhances leadership visibility.
Support broader corporate reputation initiatives. Collaborate across functions/geographies to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with global communications strategies.
Develop and execute a global awards strategy that highlights Goodyear’s innovation, leadership and impact. Manage submissions and coordinate with internal teams to identify and pursue relevant recognition opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
3 or more years of experience in either a corporate or agency setting, ideally with international exposure or work in a global organization.
Proven experience in media relations.
Strong ability to cultivate both internal and external relationships.
