Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking an accomplished and values-driven General Sales Manager to lead its sales operations. This is a strategic leadership role for a results-oriented professional who excels in coaching teams, driving profitability, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The dealership offers a fast-paced, professional environment with strong organizational support and long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach the sales organization through hands-on training, active deal involvement, and effective closing strategies

Oversee all showroom operations while maintaining a high level of product knowledge and professionalism

Drive customer satisfaction performance by analyzing CSI metrics and implementing continuous improvement strategies

Recruit, develop, motivate, and manage New and Used Sales teams, Internet Sales, Finance Managers, and Service Drive Sales

Conduct daily and weekly sales and product training meetings

Mentor both new and experienced sales professionals to improve performance and consistency

Develop, implement, and monitor CRM processes to ensure timely and effective follow-up with all prospects

Establish and oversee vehicle delivery processes, ensuring a premium customer experience

Ensure every delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service visit

Achieve dealership and OEM targets for sales volume, gross profit, and expense control on a monthly and annual basis

Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a General Sales Manager with full responsibility for the variable operations of a successful dealership

Proven track record of building, training, and leading high-performing sales teams with strong CSI results and above-average gross and net profits

Demonstrated success in generating showroom and internet traffic, including experience with SEO, SEM, direct mail, and traditional advertising

Extensive experience leading a Business Development Center (BDC)

Working knowledge of used vehicle acquisition, merchandising, and marketing strategies

Strong ability to supervise desk managers and increase F&I performance through coaching and training

Authorized to work in the United States

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening

Valid driver’s license required
