Hospital: Well-loved, financially sound growing community hospital Treats over 30,000 patients annually in the ED The Nursing Director Emergency (ER) will be very well supported by a team of 45 FTE's including a team of Clinical Coordinators and an Educator Reports directly to an inspirational and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer Stable executive leadership team About the Nursing Director Emergency (ER) Position
Primary responsibilities will include the strategic and visionary oversight of the department, building collaborative relationships with hospital leadership and physicians, maintaining and improving key performance indicators, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, and ensuring the highest level of patient care is provided consistently. Qualifications & Requirements for the Nursing Director Emergency (ER)
Master's preferred / BSN required Active RN License 5+ years clinical ER nursing experience 3+ years of ER leadership experience at the Manager level or above (similar size or larger ED) Must have a demonstrated track record of success in ER leadership Should possess excellent communication skills across all levels Collaborative, team building personality style About the Community
