This entry‑level financial services position earns a competitive salary of
$45,000 per year paid hourly , plus an uncapped monthly bonus that averages $8,000 annually. A Day in the Life of an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) As an entry‑level ABM, you will start with an 18‑to‑24‑month on‑the‑job paid training program covering branch operations and management. After training, you will manage your own branch, with full relocation package support if promoted to Branch Manager.
Your main focus will be helping customers meet their financial goals. You actively originate new loan business, recommend appropriate consumer loan and voluntary product solutions, educate customers on lending services, guide them through the loan application process, and perform follow‑up reminder calls.
You will also evaluate loan applications, perform risk analysis, make credit decisions, administer loan closings, process insurance claims, and assist the Branch Manager with recruiting and training. Your performance will directly impact branch success and open advancement opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. Ideal majors: Business, Finance, Sales or related field.
One year or more of customer‑facing sales experience preferred but not required.
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer‑relations skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team, managing priorities effectively.
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory driving record.
Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass pre‑employment drug screen.
Eligibility to obtain insurance licensing to sell voluntary products (subject to state department of insurance background check).
Willingness to relocate for promotion to Branch Manager. Full relocation package provided for moves more than 50 miles.
