We are now hiring for seasonal Park Ambassadors to join our team! A successful Part‑time Park Ambassador is an individual that is friendly, outgoing, confident but also assertive. They are able to communicate in a positive manner and provide customer service and public relations, helping to educate park users on Park District regulations, services, and programs and providing direction when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Park Ambassadors patrol the parks, provide in‑field customer service, and assist patrons with any issues.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Illinois driver’s license.

High school graduate or equivalent.

WHEN YOU’LL WORK: Hours/shifts vary. Park Ambassadors can be scheduled to work 8–12 hours/week.

WHAT YOU’LL GET:

The anticipated starting pay for this position is $16.25/hour.

This position falls under Pay Grade C with a pay range of $15.50–$26.50.
