
Overview
As a Seasonal Parks Ambassador, you’ll provide safety and supervision of Burnsville's park system, engaging the community and educating park users on ordinances when appropriate. Our Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department is a team of talented individuals who work to provide access to facilities, maintain parks and trails, and run recreation programs and events that matter to our community. This role is non-exempt (hourly) and has a starting wage of $13.80. Learn more about the Parks Ambassador position here. Responsibilities
Assisting with community activities and engagement. Establishing and maintain a positive park experience for the community. Conduct ongoing visual checks throughout the park system for maintenance and safety issues. Assists department with major celebrations and special events. Engaging and communicating with facility users. Providing general information to users on ordinances and safety of the facility. Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older. A valid Driver’s License or eligibility to be licensed. A background or interest in local government work serving the community.
