Director of Nursing (DON)
to lead clinical operations for our 120-bed community.

Position Overview The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and coordination of all nursing services to ensure the highest quality of care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and clinical programs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (CMS, NJ DOH)
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and clinical staff
Maintain and enhance the facility’s
5-Star quality outcomes
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical competency
Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive performance
Monitor quality measures, surveys, and corrective action plans
Promote a positive culture focused on resident satisfaction and staff engagement
Qualifications
Current
NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license
required
Minimum
3–5 years of DON experience
in a skilled nursing facility strongly preferred
Proven survey management and regulatory compliance experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience in quality improvement, infection control, and staff development
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
