The Jake Hermes & Associates team is expanding and hoping to find a new team member!
We are seeking a detail-oriented, innovative problem-solver who is curious, has a passion for retail, and is eager to learn from (and grow with) their team.
JHA is a small business, so we like to keep an entrepreneurial mindset –
the job can range from many roles and responsibilities, the major ones including:
Providing support for daily tasks such as: product development, sourcing, item setup/order entry, shipment tracking, PR leads, meeting recaps, weekly deliverables, email follow-ups
Help the team create ways to track & analyze product performance metrics and optimize strategies to achieve maximum results year over year
Conduct small market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
The requirements would include the below:
Team & solution-oriented
Excellent communication and organization skills
Understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, Canva basics (and willing to learn more!)
Bachelor’s degree with an interest in Retail
Past retail buying/merchandising/product development education or experience would be a plus
Open to overnight travel for meetings and/or meeting set-up (domestic & international)
Please note that flexible work-from-home is available, but home office preference is between Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison
