Join a high-performing, tight-knit team at a fast-growing company that is using the Internet of Things (IOT) to transform how organizations sense, monitor, and make decisions. Smart Sense powered by Jolt is a Digi Company, and is trusted by more than 2,000 organizations, including Walmart, SpaceX, Apple, CVS Health, Coca-Cola, and the US State Department to help them make sensor-driven decisions. We have a solution that our customers rely on every day to make mission-critical decisions; we are looking for team-oriented change agents to help shape the future of IOT.

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead and scale our product management function across a growing portfolio of IoT Sensing-as-a-Service solutions. This role is responsible for translating company strategy into a cohesive product vision, building and mentoring a high-performing team of Product Managers and Product Owners, and ensuring disciplined execution that delivers measurable customer and business outcomes.

As a senior leader within the organization, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization across multiple initiatives, balancing near-term execution with long-term platform evolution. You will partner closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure our products solve the right problems, deliver differentiated value, and scale efficiently across key verticals including Healthcare and Food Service.

What You Will Do The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable shaping long-term vision, making difficult trade-offs, and diving into complex product decisions when needed.

Own and evolve the product vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to company strategy and growth objectives.

Identify and prioritize new product opportunities through customer insights, market analysis, and business impact.

Balance platform investments, customer-driven features, and operational improvements across the portfolio.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Owners.

Establish clear product management standards, rituals, and decision-making frameworks.

Foster a culture of customer empathy, accountability, and outcomes-driven delivery.

Provide executive oversight of product discovery, delivery, and lifecycle management.

Ensure effective backlog prioritization, release planning, and cross-team coordination without becoming a bottleneck.

Actively identify and mitigate risks impacting product delivery, scalability, and customer experience.

Cross-Functional & Executive Partnership

Serve as the primary product partner to Engineering leadership, aligning roadmap commitments with technical strategy and capacity.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure products are positioned, launched, and adopted successfully.

Present product strategy, roadmap progress, and trade-offs to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts to validate direction and uncover unmet needs.

Ensure customer feedback, data, and outcomes meaningfully inform product decisions.

Act as a senior product evangelist internally and externally when needed.

Who You Are and What You Bring

Strategic Leadership: See the big picture, make informed trade-offs, and clearly communicate direction and rationale.

Outcome Orientation: Focus teams on measurable customer and business results, not just output.

Operational Discipline: Bring structure, clarity, and prioritization to complex, fast-moving environments.

Influence Without Authority: Align diverse stakeholders through trust, clarity, and credibility.

Customer Obsession: Champion customer value at every level of the organization.

Qualifications

8–12+ years of experience in Product Management, including leadership of other Product Managers or Product Owners.

Proven experience owning product strategy and roadmaps for SaaS and/or IoT-enabled products.

Strong understanding of Agile product development at scale.

Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Desired But Not Required

Experience in Healthcare, Food Service, or regulated environments.

Experience with IoT platforms, hardware-software systems, or data-driven products.

Experience leading product teams through growth, integration, or platform evolution.

Certifications in Agile, Scrum, Pragmatic, or equivalent product disciplines.
