Job Description The Senior Transaction Manager is responsible for the end to end management of selected IBV project sales transactions (Solar PV, BESS, Wind). The role involves full ownership of transactions within their assigned market, including set-up, management and success of crucial large scale transactions.

Day to day responsibility for a number of international equity transactions in parallel, managed either internallyor with the support of an advisor \ Liaise with colleagues and/or external financial advisor throughout preparation phase to produce high quality transaction materials (IM, Model, etc.)

Review relevant transaction documentation from a commercial perspective and liaise with internal and external counsel on legal matters

Take aleading role in negotiations with investors from an IBV perspective, working with JV partners, commercial colleagues and Head of Transactions where appropriate

Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure transactions are executed on time, including alignment with internal legal, tax and technical teams

Assist with selection of financial and legal advisors, prepare/obtaintransaction approval, assessment of commercial merits and risks of proposed transactions, providesummaries where required

Assist with developing and maintaining key investor relationshipsand identifying key target investors in relevant markets

Provide learnings and assist with the reporting of M&A activity

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, MBA or a related field

8+ years of relevant industry experience in Renewable Energy M&A or another relevant field, with demonstrable competence in successfully originating, managing and closing transactions

End to end understanding of M&A sales processes, legal documents and wording

Familiarity with RES planning, design, engineering, and construction processes

Proficient financial model skills and an excellent understanding of the relevant value drivers for renewable energy projects

Understanding of current key market trendswith the ability to pivot sale strategy to best suit the environment

Proficiency in English both written and verbal; proficiency in German language is strongly preferred
