Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Central Planning Team.

RSCS has invested in a broad scaled technology initiative with Blue Yonder (BY) to provide end to end visibility and ensure supply continuity for $7B+ in critical Yum! Brand food and packaging components which support 16,000+ restaurants and $20B in revenue across Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, and Habit Burger & Grill in the United States.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Planning, the Senior Business Analyst will support the end users in coordinating all technical aspects of the BY system (both Demand and Fulfillment). The overarching mission of the role is to maximize the effectiveness of the end users by keeping the BY system running at top performance and with the best data available. Further, the Senior Business Analyst will seek out and lead projects to help RSCS continuously evolve its supply planning capability to higher levels of capability and maturity.

Essential Functions

Drive Blue Yonder operational health and continuity.

Ensure ongoing stability, usability, and performance of Blue Yonder to support day-to-day planning operations.

Own the onboarding of new data sources, partners, and planning scenarios, ensuring changes are well-designed, validated, and smoothly adopted with minimal operational disruption.

Manage Blue Yonder user access and permissions in alignment with internal audit and governance requirements.

Maintain a strong working understanding of how planning data flows across systems to support accurate and

Represent the Central Planning organization as a senior contributor in cross-functional initiatives and technology upgrades, advocating for planning process needs and system readiness.

Function as a project coordinator and business representative in partnership with RSCS IT for new integrations, enhancements, reporting initiatives, and system improvements.

Advance planning processes through enhanced Blue Yonder utilization.

Serve as the senior subject-matter expert for Blue Yonder, providing thought leadership on how the platform is used to support and advance supply chain planning strategy.

Lead the definition, documentation, and continuous improvement of planning business processes, ensuring Blue Yonder capabilities are aligned to current and future-state operating models.

Partner closely with Plantensive, Brand, and Central Planning teams to shape planning assumptions and workflows, proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and planning quality.

Implement the expansion and maturation of Blue Yonder utilization, recommending new use cases, features, or process changes that align with the evolution of planning capabilities.

Serves as the primary owner for planning reports and insights.

Creates business requirements for reporting needs to best support planning’s continuous improvement.

Partners with the business analytics team to bring reporting functionality to life.

Identifies opportunities where reporting would be beneficial or could be streamlined and improved.

Ad hoc or weekly reporting needs where not yet fully automated

Maintain hands-on planning responsibility to inform analysis and insight.

Own planning responsibility for a defined category (approximately 30–50 items) to maintain a deep understanding of planning execution and business realities.

Ensure supply across core and promotional sales, leveraging technology systems (Blue Yonder) to create and execute supply plans and adjust fulfillment forecasts as needed.

Collaborate with suppliers, distributors + redistributors, internal procurement team, and concept hub teams to ensure consensus understanding, preparedness, and execution.

Maximize supply flexibility while minimizing cost implications and risk of obsolescence; ensuring the right products/ingredients are in the right location and at the right time.

Monitor and account for capacity utilization; mitigate risk of product expiration; maintain network inventory targets; resolve fulfillment plan inaccuracies.

Stay current on industry trends and best practices in supply chain planning and digital enablement, proactively recommending improvements that increase planning maturity and business value.

Perform additional duties as required to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years business experience, including two or more years managing supply planning data systems in an environment that leverages a high volume of transactional data for inventory, demand forecasting, and fulfillment planning.

Prefer experience at an organization supporting supply planning, manufacturing, or distribution for QSR.

Prefer APICS CPIM certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, or ISM CPSM certification.

Required technical experience: Supply Chain Planning/ERP Solutions (i.e.: Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP, Logility), Microsoft Office Suite, Analytics (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.), Coordination driving performance of third-party Cloud Service providers, Oracle SQL (queries to identify data issues), and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
