What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center

Utilize smartphone-based technology for managing rentals and inventory

Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring proper operation

Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels and maintaining safety standards

Prepare rental invoices and manage equipment returns

What is Required (Qualifications)

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs

Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks or discomfort

Capability to use protective clothing or gear as needed

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in customer service or a related field

Familiarity with technology and equipment management

Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain upon employment

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Interest in ongoing education and training opportunities
