THE ROLE We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing and Content Director to help elevate our brand presence and drive business growth. The primary function of this role is to create and publish differentiated, relevant content that scales awareness of our firm while engaging our unique audience of investors, CEOs, and senior executives.

This is not a generic B2B white paper publishing job. Our content directly serves the community of executives that run the world's most creative and culture‑defining brands. The right candidate will have an authentic connection to this audience and a clear point of view on topics, channels, and cadence to meet them where they are.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Content Development & Platform Marketing

Work with VP Marketing and Recruiting teams to create sophisticated, client‑ready thought leadership, marketing, and business development materials that showcase our expertise and differentiation in the market.

Strategically atomize content across channels (website, LinkedIn, newsletter), developing engaging platform‑native formats to amplify impact and extend reach.

Assist with the production of KPA’s Daily News Brief, a beloved industry publication with a highly engaged audience of ~15,000 senior executive subscribers.

Leverage proprietary firm data and KPA’s Daily News Brief research to develop original insights and commentary that inform business development, PR, and marketing strategies and content.

Develop and manage KPA’s content calendar, ensuring integrated and timely delivery of content across BD, marketing, PR and social media.

Identify PR, speaking, writing, and partnership opportunities to raise the firm's profile in the industry, working closely with the Partners to strengthen executive presence and subject matter expertise.

Monitor analytics and effectiveness of content and campaigns, reporting results and leveraging insights to continuously improve.

Business Development & Strategic Marketing

Lead the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to generate new business opportunities.

Research prospective clients and industries, synthesizing insights to inform outreach strategies and pitch customization.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in a marketing, content, and/or communications role within high‑end B2B professional services (executive search, strategy, management consulting, or private equity preferred).

Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a portfolio demonstrating fluency across digital formats, particularly in thought leadership, pitch/proposal development, newsletter publishing, LinkedIn.

Deep passion for and knowledge of fashion, consumer brands, retail, and culture‑shaping companies, with an authentic connection to the executive agenda and the business of brands.

Strong design sensibility and experience working with PowerPoint or presentation design tools.

Strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into creative marketing initiatives, driving execution from concept through launch.

Self‑directed with the ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating effectively with leadership.

Must be able to work in our NYC office 2‑3 days a week, or more as business priorities require.

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & CULTURE

$120,000 - $150,000 based on experience and growth potential

Annual bonus based on company performance and individual impact
