The faculty member in this position will be expected to teach a range of courses, including but not limited to: Principles of Marketing, Principles of Selling, Sales Management, Business to Business Marketing, Business Negotiations, Introduction to Business, Computer Concepts, and other Management and Marketing courses as needed Additionalresponsibilities includeacademicadvising, student club advising, involvement in department projects, assessment data collection, and activities,representingthe department at campus-wide recruiting events, and participation in campus committees.Duties also include contribution to student growth and development, participation in department and institutional activities, evaluation of student performance, engagement in scholarly activities, and participation in service to the University and community.SMSU, in its commitment to meeting the service needs of the region, expects faculty to engage in regional service, education or study as part of their community service responsibility.Teaching experience in Management and Marketing at the undergraduate level.Professional work experience in Marketing or Management.Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, online and web-supported delivery. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners.Teaching experience in Management or Marketing at the graduate levelUnderstanding and appreciation of liberal education and a global perspective.
