What You’ll Do Role Summary BCG is scaling its strategic technology alliances to bring next-generation AI, cloud, and data solutions to clients. The

Technology Alliance Chief of Staff Team

plays a central role in making these partnerships work: orchestrating priorities, driving execution, and enabling senior leaders to focus on impact.

In this role, you will act as a

force multiplier

for the Alliance leadership team (e.g., Global Alliance Leader, global GTM leads, product leaders), coordinating across BCG regions, practices, BCG X, and the partner organization (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Google). You will help shape the alliance strategy, ensure operational excellence, and support the development and go-to-market of joint offerings.

This is a highly visible, execution-oriented role at the intersection of

strategy, operations, and relationship management .

Key Responsibilities 1. Alliance Strategy & Planning

Support the Alliance leadership in developing and refining the

annual and multi-year strategy

for the partnership, including ambition, focus areas, and investment priorities.

Help translate strategic priorities into

clear OKRs / KPIs , initiatives, and workplans.

Conduct targeted internal and external analysis (market trends, partner roadmap, competitive landscape) to inform alliance strategy and positioning.

2. Operating Rhythm & Governance

Design and run the

operating cadence

for the alliance (e.g., weekly leadership huddles, monthly performance reviews, quarterly executive steering committees).

Prepare and shape materials for senior forums (BCG ET, Practice leadership, BCG X, partner executives), ensuring messages are concise, data-driven, and action-oriented.

Track decisions, follow-ups, and risks; ensure

effective ownership and closure

across a distributed set of stakeholders.

3. Go-to-Market & Pipeline Management

Partner with GTM leads to

operationalize GTM plays

(e.g., priority industries, solutions, regions) and track adoption.

Maintain a clear view of the

joint pipeline , including key opportunities, wins, and flagship references; support interventions to unblock priority deals.

Coordinate with Marketing and Practice teams on

joint campaigns, flagship events, and thought leadership , ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.

4. Solution & Offering Enablement

Work with BCG X, Practice, and product owners to support the

development, packaging, and scaling of joint solutions

(e.g., reference architectures, repeatable assets, demo environments).

Help codify

“what good looks like”

for BCG teams using the alliance (playbooks, case studies, selling narratives, qualification criteria).

Support internal enablement (webinars, roadshows, training content, internal sites) to increase

awareness and adoption

across BCG.

5. Relationship & Stakeholder Management

Serve as a

central coordination point

between BCG and the partner organization, ensuring alignment on priorities, execution, and communications.

Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders:

BCG alliance leadership, regional alliance champions, practice and sector leaders, BCG X leaders

Partner sales, industry, and technical teams

Support the management of

executive relationships

(briefing docs, talking points, meeting agendas, follow-up notes).

6. Performance Management & Reporting

Define and maintain the

performance dashboard

for the alliance (e.g., revenue, pipeline, attach of partner solutions, solution adoption, marketing impact).

Provide

regular performance insights

to senior stakeholders and propose course-corrections where needed.

Support budgeting and investment tracking for the alliance (internal funding, partner MDF or co-investment, etc.).

What You’ll Bring Must-Have

Consulting or strategy / operations experience , ideally 3–8+ years depending on level (management consulting, corporate strategy, alliances / partnerships, or similar).

senior stakeholders

(Directors, Partners, C-level, VP-level) with poise and credibility.

Excellent

structured thinking and communication

skills – both written (decks, exec summaries, briefing notes) and verbal.

technology topics

(cloud, data, AI, SaaS platforms); you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be able to translate between business and technical stakeholders.

High level of

ownership, proactivity, and follow-through ; thrives in a fast-moving, global, matrixed environment.
