Director of Client Services and Engagement Association Headquarters seeks a Director to lead client partner relationships and manage a team of Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities

Account Executive Leadership

– mentor, coach, and develop high‑performing teams; conduct annual performance reviews; collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve client issues.

Client Relationship Management

– cultivate and maintain strong relationships; drive retention and revenue growth through upsells, cross‑sells, and long‑term partnership development; serve as primary contact for key accounts.

New Client Growth

– partner with New Business Development and Marketing to expand service offerings and secure growth opportunities within existing relationships.

Interim Executive Support

– serve as interim Account Executive or transition manager as needed.

Metrics and Reporting

– establish KPIs to track satisfaction, retention, and engagement; report progress to senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Minimum 10 years of client‑service, account‑management, or customer‑success experience.

Proven leadership and coaching skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams.

Strong sales‑like client‑management abilities; experience driving growth and building trust.

Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Experience with CRM systems and client‑engagement tools.

Ability to travel up to 35 % of time.
