Haven Christian Reformed Church in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Lead Pastor of Teaching to guide us, as we seek to carry out the mission of Haven CRC. We are Christ’s disciples…growing…living…and making Him known! Haven is a medium sized, intergenerational church with a strong, well established faith community.
Responsibilities and Qualifications The Pastor’s primary responsibilities will be pastoral leadership, training, preaching, prayer, and worship. The candidate must be ordained or willing to become ordained as a Minister of the Word or Commissioned Pastor in the Christian Reformed Church.
The city of Zeeland is a small community with approximately 5700 residents located in Ottawa County, MI, that has a population of almost 300,000. Christian education is readily accessible from elementary through high school. There are also many local public schools. Hope College, Calvin University and Cornerstone University, and other Christian Colleges are located within a 45 minute drive. Other recreational activities are available in the area including access to Lake Michigan, hiking, fishing, hunting, and kayaking. There are plenty of medical facilities within one hour drive, offering services of all kinds.
