Woodhaven is a growing multi-generational church of 300+ people located in Byron Center, Michigan (about 15 minutes south of Grand Rapids). We exist to radically transform the communities around us with the hope and love of Christ. Our vision over the next few years is to fully engage our people, our campus, and our assets in the missional work of the church. Position Summary

To help us better live into our vision, Woodhaven is looking for a highly relational ministry partner who is passionate about leading worship and intentional about disciple-making. This person will be the primary champion of our Sunday morning worship experience, helping create a space where our church family can encounter Jesus through music and praise. Position Responsibilities

Work with the Lead Pastor to plan and organize a worship experience that helps people encounter Jesus and his Gospel every week that challenges them to be fully committed disciples. Identify, recruit, develop, and coordinate musicians, vocalists and leaders for worship as well as members for the tech/productions team (slides, audio, cameras) Lead weekly rehearsals Assist in establishing and maintaining Worship/Production budget Manage equipment necessary for Worship/Production teams Enhance and expand upon the team’s song list and arrangements Maintain compliance with music and video copyright laws and licensing Qualifications

Have a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a gifted vocalist and worship leader. Understanding of sound production, ProPresenter, and Planning Center. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in planning and leading a worship service, recruiting and training volunteer musicians/vocalists. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Seminary Degree. To Apply
