Position Purpose Advanced Power Technologies (APT) is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Associate to support growth across sales enablement, digital marketing, and brand presence. This role blends customer-facing business development with hands‑on content creation, website management, and marketing execution. The position is designed for a self‑directed, results‑oriented individual who can operate independently, collaborate across teams, and represent APT professionally in both digital and in‑person environments. The role may be full‑time or part‑time, with the ability to scale based on performance and business needs.

Role Overview This role supports how APT presents itself to the market and how opportunities are developed, documented, and communicated internally. The associate helps translate technical, industrial products into clear, accurate, and professional messaging consistent with the industry and meant to exceed what is found in the market while supporting inbound and outbound sales activity. The associate may participate in customer meetings, presentations, and industry events, and may serve as a front‑line point of contact in early‑stage discussions under guidance from senior leadership. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, comfort working with technical subject matter, and the ability to manage work through collaboration via email, text, phone, and video conference.

Key Responsibilities Marketing & Content Creation

Develop, coordinate, and manage marketing content for APT digital properties and related business initiatives.

Create visual and video‑based content highlighting products, capabilities, and manufacturing to be shared via social media.

Collaborate on short‑form video content using modern editing and AI‑assisted tools and be responsible for growing engagements and interest from postings.

Maintain consistency across messaging, visuals, and tone.

Support ongoing content refresh and reuse strategies to maintain long‑term relevance.

Website & Digital Presence

Maintain/update content across APT web platforms and related auxiliary business sites.

Support development of web‑based product presentation, informational, and blog pages.

Assist with content organization, structure, and clarity for technical audiences.

Coordinate content updates with internal stakeholders.

Online store development experience resulting in the effective communication of product features through visual content development is a focus of this position.

Creating brand awareness by managing and creating video, picture, and audio content development for business’s external advertising and social media profiles.

Updating/developing visual website content via a content management system (CMS).

Identify deficiencies, suggest updates to website search engine optimization (SEO) as compared to other market leaders.

Making and receiving direct telecommunications with the intent of promoting or selling company products or services to corporate customers.

Social Media & External Communications

Manage and publish company social media content, including professional video posts.

Coordinate posting schedules and content pipelines.

Ensure content aligns with APT’s technical credibility and professional image.

Support the professional social media activity objectives as directed.

Develop recurring visual and video content that can be reused over time without content exhaustion.

Business Development Support

Assist with early‑stage customer engagement and opportunity development.

Support preparation of customer‑facing presentations and materials.

Help document and track opportunities using internal tools and processes.

Coordinate follow‑ups, information gathering, and internal handoffs.

Participate in customer calls or meetings as appropriate.

Performing administrative duties for the sales &-abortion marketing team as assigned and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Identifying prospects and tracking sales activities.

May respond to customer inquiries by following standard scripts and procedures.

Coordinating and assisting with the marketingichts of our company’s product lines.

Trade Shows & Events

Assist with planning and preparation for trade shows and industry events.

Coordinate marketing materials, signage, and printed assets.

Support booth setup, breakdown, and on‑site representation.

Ensure materials are relevant to the event, audience, and product focus as assigned.

Pros internal coordination

Work with sales, engineering, and leadership teams.

Organize files, assets, and documentation for internal use.

Maintain clear written communication and status updates.

Support continuous improvement of marketing and sales workflows.

Perform administrative duties for the sales &‑marketing team as assigned and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Technical & Creative Skills

Ability to analyze and organize visual and written information clearly.

Proficiency with common productivity tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Experience with website content development, social media, Adobe Reader and PDFs, photo and video editing tools/software, WordPress and basic HTML (If not, we’ll teach you all of these and more).

Experience in computer graphics, CAD manipulation, and marketing literature development.

Limited AutoCAD (desired but not required).

Comfort working with technical products and with industrial customers.

Education & Experience

Demonstrable history of a minimum of three (3) years with video and pictorial content creation and visual web store development and management.

Approximately 2-3 years of relevant or transferable skills experience.

Creative candidates shall have the skills of individuals pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Sales, Media, Business Administration, Communications, or a related technical or financial field desired; however, formal education is not required.

Formal education is valued, but demonstrated capability and initiative are equally important.

Position Type/Time Commitment:

Full Time (40-55 Hours Per Week).

Part Timepending (minimum 20 hours with flexibility to scale).

Travel Percentage: Limited, generally less than 10 percent, for trade shows or customer meetings.

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience.
