Customer Service Representative (Remote)
Entity: Security Health Plan – Location: Marshfield, WI – Position Type: Non-Clinical | Full-Time – Openings: 10 – Shift: Day Shift – Start Date: Target 2/2/2026 – Pay: $19/hr on W2
Position Summary The Customer Service Representative supports members of the Security Health Plan by delivering high-quality customer service in a call center environment. This role involves responding to inquiries related to health insurance benefits, eligibility, claims, and general plan information while ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound customer service calls in a high-volume call center environment
Provide accurate information regarding medical insurance benefits, claims, eligibility, and coverage
Document member interactions accurately in internal systems
Resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner
Adhere to HIPAA and company confidentiality policies
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure issue resolution
Maintain productivity, quality, and attendance standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience
Strong background in call center, medical, or insurance environments preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Seniority level Associate
