T5 Data Centers
The Solutions Director role is responsible for coordinating and managing the technical solution development for the T5 Operations sales process. The role supports sales leadership with a success-based bonus structure, aligned directly with the sales team’s performance. Applicants should have an operational background in data centers while being goal‑minded, with an interest in contributing to a strategic team‑selling model, including coordinating with other technical, operations, construction, finance, management, proposal and sales team members. Accountability, understanding technical requirements, meeting client‑driven timelines and maintaining the T5 customer standards are central to the role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Acting as the technical leader on the T5 Operations sales leadership team for pre‑sales technical support, including solutions development, customer discussions and presentations
Ability to work with operational leaders to document and describe the T5 Operations Playbook and standards for our prospects and clients
Understanding of customer requirements for solutions and deliverables, with the ability to communicate how T5 technical solutions solve business requirements and challenges
Technical preparation for client meetings and proposals responses, including services descriptions, customized staffing models, and detail for technical questionnaires on operational and maintenance programs, while working in a team environment with our Proposal Manager and Operations Team
Driving follow through on technical action items, both internally and client facing
EXPERIENCE
Data center operator and technical background
Strong customer facing “people” skills
Ability to understand technical operations components and articulate their impact at a business level, in client‑facing presentations
Works well in collaboration with T5 team members and partners
Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with an expectation of accountability
Problem solver that is detail oriented
Proficiency in MSFT Office products, with Google product skills a plus
