Employment Type:

Full Time

Location:

Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 / year

Description Theo is a performance media agency built for brands that care about outcomes, not theater. We partner with ambitious companies to design and execute systems that drive real growth—across media, creative, analytics, and technology. Our work spans performance marketing, content, data, and proprietary tools, all engineered to connect businesses with real people.

The Social Content Coordinator plays a key role in how Theo shows up in the world. This role is responsible for creating and publishing content across Theo’s owned channels—including our website, social platforms, and email—as well as assisting on select client projects when needed.

You’ll work closely with Theo’s subject matter experts (strategy, media, analytics, creative) to translate ideas, insights, and day‑to‑day work into clear, compelling content. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys both thinking and making—owning content from concept through execution, while learning how content supports broader business goals.

This is not a “just post things” role. Strategy, clarity, and quality matter here.

Key Responsibilities

Create content across formats, including:

Short‑form social content (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

Static visuals and simple motion assets

Blog articles and written content for Theo’s website

Occasional short‑form video and multimedia content

Own end‑to‑end content production:

Concepting and ideation

Outlining and scripting

Filming, editing, or designing assets

Final publication and iteration

Mine long‑form content (articles, talks, internal discussions, client work) for strong social moments—pulling quotes, clips, or excerpts and adapting them for platform‑specific formats

Develop multi‑format content series that can live across web, social, and email

Work comfortably inside design tools like Figma to produce on‑brand social and web collateral

Publish and manage content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Theo’s website, and email tools

Capture and document the day‑to‑day life at Theo HQ—work sessions, whiteboards, conversations, moments worth sharing

Be comfortable appearing on‑camera as a host, guide, or narrator when the concept calls for it (not a primary requirement)

Manage a content roadmap and calendar, coordinating timelines and deliverables

Collaborate closely with Theo’s subject matter experts to shape upcoming content and ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

~1 year of experience creating content (internships, freelance, agency, or strong personal projects all count)

Ability to work across formats: written content, static visuals, and short‑form video

Comfortable owning your work from start to finish and managing multiple pieces of content at once

Proficiency with common creative tools, including:

Figma

for design and layout

Video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar

Strong understanding of major platforms (especially LinkedIn and Instagram) and how content behaves differently on each

Solid grasp of content fundamentals: hooks, structure, pacing, clarity, and storytelling

Coachable and curious—open to feedback and motivated to improve your craft

Reliable and organized: meets deadlines, communicates clearly, and follows through

Nice to Have

Experience working with agencies or professional service brands

Familiarity with basic performance metrics and content analytics

Interest in growth marketing, strategy, or analytics—even if you’re not an expert (yet)
