Red Bay is seeking a Business Development Director. This position is responsible for coordinating the admissions of new and returning residents/patients from home, hospital, or other healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
Maintain and be the line of communication with hospital social workers/discharge planners, families, and facility staff to coordinate admissions
Manage the inquiry process professionally, timely and with appropriate follow-up
Conduct tours of the facility to prospective residents, family members, and marketing clients
Obtain appropriate admission papers and signatures from residents or responsible parties
Provide excellent customer service, while fielding inquiries regarding our services and or issues with existing patients/families including room management
Verify insurance coverage, and obtain insurance authorizations as required
Maintains along with the marketing director budgeted census goals
Support the facility’s philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives
Requirements
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling many different tasks with a sense of urgency
1-year experience minimum Admissions experience in senior care
Must be able to project a warm, friendly, and sympathetic interest to all
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, and visitors.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action; Must be able to be flexible to meet changing situations
