Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst / Configurator
to support federal government clients through the implementation, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions. This role requires close collaboration with government stakeholders to translate mission and operational needs into scalable, secure, and compliant ServiceNow configurations.
The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis expertise, hands‑on ServiceNow configuration experience, and the ability to deliver solutions in Agile, compliance‑driven federal environments.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with federal stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
Translate agency and mission requirements into ServiceNow solutions aligned with platform capabilities and federal best practices
Configure and support ServiceNow modules to meet program, operational, and compliance requirements
Support ServiceNow installations and enhancements in accordance with federal security, governance, and documentation standards
Estimate, plan, and manage ServiceNow implementation tasks, schedules, and deliverables
Track and report project status, risks, and milestones to government and internal stakeholders
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) within a federal Agile delivery framework
Support testing, validation, documentation, and transition‑to‑operations activities as required by federal contracts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of
six (6) years of professional experience
ServiceNow certifications
ServiceNow micro‑certifications
Experience working with government or enterprise stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
Demonstrated ability to map complex business processes to ServiceNow functionality
Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow software installation and configuration
Experience estimating, planning, and managing ServiceNow implementation efforts
Experience working in Agile development environments
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a
Public Trust clearance Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Active or previously held
Public Trust clearance
Prior experience supporting federal, state, or local government clients
Experience in compliance-driven or regulated environments
