How you'll contribute A dedicated and licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Physical Therapist. This role involves applying appropriate therapeutic modalities, monitoring patient responses, and providing timely updates on progress or needed adjustments to treatment goals. The PTA documents all services rendered and educates patients and their families or caregivers about physical deficits and recovery strategies. Additional duties include supporting discharge planning, advising on adaptive equipment, and connecting patients to community support resources. Strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure with minimal supervision are essential for success in this position.
