Oversee Clinical Operations: The DPCS is responsible for the overall management of home health clinical operations and patient care services. Ensure Quality Care: They must ensure that patient care is provided in compliance with industry standards, regulatory agencies, and company objectives and policies. Manage Clinical Teams: The DPCS manages clinical teams, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Develop and Implement Plans: They develop and implement plans of care, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate level of care.
