About the Role

As a Content Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in both maintaining FMG’s extensive content library and publishing content across multiple platforms. This is a hybrid role that blends content research, quality control, and digital publishing. You’ll help ensure our content remains accurate, compliant, up‑to‑date, and delivered to customers on time. This role is not primarily a writing or design position. Instead, it’s ideal for someone who thrives on organization, research, and process‑driven work—while also enjoying hands‑on execution in content publishing systems. You’ll report to the Creative Operations Director and work closely with Content Researchers, Publishers, Subject Matter Experts, Copywriters, Designers, and other Creative Operations partners. Weekend work is required for publishing coverage; however, this time can be offset during the week. Compensation

This position offers $21.25/per hour. Primary Responsibilities & Expectations

Content Library Maintenance & Research

Maintain and update FMG’s content library by sourcing current, credible statistics and references Evaluate sources with academic‑level rigor and ensure alignment with compliance and industry standards Track content updates, sources, and deadlines using spreadsheets and internal systems Collaborate with the Creative Team to ensure accuracy and clarity Perform light editing or copy updates as needed (not a primary writing role) Content Publishing & Deployment

Publish and deploy content across multiple CMS and marketing platforms, including articles, emails, social posts, campaigns, and sequences Support scheduled and weekend publishing with strong attention to detail Troubleshoot and resolve publishing‑related issues Collaborate on publishing schedules and communicate status updates to stakeholders Keep the organization informed of content releases and updates Collaboration & Process Ownership

Communicate proactively with teammates to reduce bottlenecks and stress Clearly articulate processes and document workflows others can follow Balance independent work with collaborative team efforts Stay accessible and responsive during assigned work hours Access to a private & secure workspace, free from distractions Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor Availability for occasional weekend publishing, with weekday time offset An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps) Skills and Qualifications

Required

Proven experience with content coordination, research, fact‑checking, publishing, or similar work Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail Strong critical‑thinking skills and ability to evaluate the quality and credibility of sources Comfort working in highly regulated or rules‑driven environments Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of integrity, accountability, and consistency in meeting deadlines Comfort with technology and eagerness to learn new platforms and tools Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment Great to Have
