Manager, Product Sales – Surgeon Gloves Medline is seeking an experienced Manager, Product Sales for the Surgeon Gloves product line. The role focuses on securing new business, supporting integration, driving product usage, and managing a specialist sales team.

Job Summary Manage projects and sales presentations to secure new business, guide customers through integration, and maintain product usage. Lead the evaluation and conversion of client needs through pre‑sales and post‑sales consulting. Oversee goals, pipeline, travel schedules, and territory management for the specialist team. Manage a team of product experts focused on Medline’s product portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet overall targets.

Maintain and grow the sales pipeline; expand existing accounts by presenting new solutions.

Lead sales teams through all phases of the sales cycle.

Facilitate communication among Product, Sales, and Specialist teams.

Implement division strategy through weekly check‑ins, goal setting, objection handling, coaching, and pipeline review.

Ensure the team has tools and knowledge for positive customer engagement and support sales.

Build relationships with key decision‑makers; gather and relay customer feedback.

Own issue resolution; deliver solutions and follow up.

Determine when additional training or education is needed.

Serve as lead escalation point and main representative for the specialist team.

Oversee product conversions, implementation processes, and program creation, trial support, and rollouts.

Support customers with product usage issues.

Identify product positioning and innovation opportunities for the Specialist team.

Lead market research; track trends that impact sales, service, or product development.

Communicate customer and specialist feedback to appropriate departments for product improvements or new opportunities.

Manage people, set direction, and allocate resources.

Oversee daily operations for the employee group.

Implement policies; recommend changes as needed.

Provide guidance and structure for staff performance.

Handle hiring, pay recommendations, performance reviews, training, staffing needs, work assignments, and deadlines.

Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a business or clinical field.

Minimum 5 years in product management, product development, or sales.

At least 4 years in product sales.

Strong understanding of product, customer, and market needs in Acute sales channel.

Experience building customer relationships and providing clinical consultative feedback.

Proven ability to execute sales and marketing strategies.

Ability to analyze market trends and develop presentations, recommendations, and forecasts.

Strong problem‑solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues.

Proven project management skills and ability to deliver strategic initiatives.

Skilled at presenting to senior leadership/C‑suite to influence decisions.

Strong communication planning and implementation skills.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Travel required 50–75%; includes office and medical facility environments.

May require non‑traditional hours (weekends, multiple shifts).

Preferred Job Qualifications

Experience leading a professional‑level team on product or sales initiatives.

Experience working with cross‑functional groups to identify and implement complex solutions.

Prefer experience in project management.

Salary Anticipated salary range: $116,000.00 – $174,000.00 annual. Role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Salary varies by location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
