Our client is a growing FinTech startup in the Big Data and Analytics space in New York City. They provide an innovative, enterprise‑grade data management and analytics solution for the Wealth Management space, helping financial advisors, financial services firms, and technology companies aggregate, manage, and analyze financial portfolio data.
Job Description Position: Sales Executive – Wealth Management Technology (Full‑time FTE)
Location: New York City – Greater NYC area (up to 20% travel)
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 base + equity
Take lead on managing inbound leads and outbound sales for the financial advisor segment (registered investment advisors, financial planners, and sizable broker‑dealers).
Lead demos and discovery sessions with target clients.
Manage the customer lifecycle from prospecting to qualification to conversion.
Act as a thought leader and advocate for our technology in the industry and attend industry events.
Systematically track client and prospect interactions, keeping structured records of client issues and product feedback to pass on to support and operations teams.
Qualifications
2–3 years of sales experience in the RIA/financial advisory space.
Familiarity with the industry landscape, categories of technology providers, and distinctions among financial advisors.
Experience with outbound sales and/or technology sales to financial advisors.
Hunting mindset coupled with a winning personality – hustling spirit without over‑the‑top aggressiveness.
Organized, disciplined work style with strong attention to detail; deep knowledge of the pipeline and customer requirements for closing deals.
