About the Team The Sales Compliance team is responsible for designing and ensuring effective Sales Compliance and Controls across DoorDash’s sales organization. The team is part of the larger Sales Strategy & Operations team, accelerating productivity and developing go‑to‑market strategies and processes to support our sales organization. This group builds the engine and foundation for DoorDash to achieve the best selection for our platform and grow revenues across all business lines.
About the Role We are looking for a Data analyst who will draw actionable insights from large financial data sets, design and maintain reliable data pipelines, drive order‑to‑cash process improvements, and lead net‑new initiatives focused on automation and AI‑driven solutions. You will understand the internal processes that drive data inputs and quality, enabling you to root cause compliance, reporting, contract, and system issues. You will also work directly with our sales team to understand and remediate any compliance issues. You will report into the Director of Sales Compliance in our Sales Strategy and Operations. We expect this role to be flexible, primarily working from home with occasional work in‑office.
Responsibilities
Work cross‑functionally with analytics, sales, product, accounting, audit, finance and engineering teams.
Get to the lowest level of detail to deeply understand DoorDash’s products and systems.
Help automate at scale and replace manual processes across the sales compliance organization.
Contribute to the design and optimization of ETL workflows, monitor and document data quality, and support stakeholders in accessing reliable data.
Directly impact DoorDash’s ability to recognize revenue and audit internal controls.
Present results in a timely manner to key stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
You have 3+ years of relevant experience in analytical engineering, data science or a similar field.
You are proactive, self‑motivated and highly efficient with excellent problem‑analysis skills.
Advanced experience with SQL, data modeling, Python/R.
You know how to design and maintain reliable data pipelines and work with modern data warehouses like Snowflake.
You understand data quality and governance best practices, and can apply them in data quality, governance, and workflow automation (e.g., ETL Express).
You’re familiar with Salesforce/CRM data structures.
You have the ability to move quickly and desire to own projects from day one.
You have project management and organizational skills.
You have applied AI/LLM frameworks and API integrations to real business problems.
Compensation The starting pay will fall within the USD 88,400—130,000 range and is determined based on job‑related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunities for equity grants.
