Job Summary With limited supervision from a Housekeeping Supervisor, the employee is responsible for performing housekeeping duties in remote camps on the North Slope.
Schedule options include 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or 3 weeks on/3 weeks off, depending on the camp site.
Shifts are 12 hours long (40 hours straight time per week with an additional 44 hours overtime).
Lodging and food are provided, and travel/flights from Anchorage to the job site are covered.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous housekeeping experience
Customer‑oriented and friendly attitude
Prioritization and time‑management skills
Proficient in speaking, reading, understanding, and writing English
Pass the company’s pre‑employment screening process (drug screen, criminal background check, and post‑offer physical/fitness evaluation)
Desired Qualifications
Previous remote site camp experience or related field experience
Mature judgement and appropriate behavior judgment
Essential Functions
Perform general housekeeping duties (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, cleaning offices, hallways, and bedrooms).
Ensure all rooms are inspected according to standards.
Sanitize bathrooms and assist with laundry duties as needed.
Make and change beds or bed sheets.
Remove garbage and dispose of materials properly.
Check consumable levels and replace when appropriate.
Notify supervisor of any damages, deficiencies, or disturbances.
Work independently and collaborate with a team of housekeepers.
Build and maintain good public relations with clients, residents, and coworkers.
Maintain safe and sanitary working conditions, following health and safety rules and using proper equipment and solutions.
Perform other duties as required.
