About the Role
The Company is in search of a Director of Pharmacy to oversee the operations of its infusion services. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in operational excellence, regulatory oversight, and team development, all while maintaining a steadfast commitment to patient safety and service quality. This role is pivotal in providing full operational leadership for pharmacy services, including sterile compounding, preparation, labeling, and distribution. The Director will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, overseeing quality assurance and patient safety initiatives, and managing day-to-day facility operations.
Applicants for the Director of Pharmacy position at the company should hold an active California Pharmacist License and have 4-10 years' of progressive pharmacy leadership experience, preferably in infusion, hospital, specialty, or clinical environments. Residency training is strongly preferred. The role requires a leader with proven strengths in operations, compliance, staff leadership, and financial management, who is highly organized, collaborative, and decisive, with strong communication skills. The Director will also be involved in managing gross margin performance, leading operational and strategic projects, and championing a best-in-class patient experience across all pharmacy services.
