The Company is seeking a Managing Director to spearhead a transformative economic development and workforce strategy initiative. This role is pivotal in leading the strategy, coordination, and execution of a regional economic opportunity plan, with a focus on improving economic mobility. The successful candidate will be a trusted, cross-sector leader with a proven ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders. Key responsibilities include strategy development, goal setting, cross-sector stakeholder alignment, and the creation of a governance and coordination infrastructure. The Managing Director will also be instrumental in plan development, resource mobilization, and tracking impact, with a strong emphasis on data-informed decision-making and performance measurement.
Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a background in leading multi-sector initiatives related to economic development, workforce development, social impact, or community investment. The role requires strong public and private sector engagement skills, a deep collaborative orientation, and an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate will have a track record of high-impact fundraising, experience in data-informed planning, and the ability to operate in a builder environment.
