Nature and Scope:
Lay Associate/Youth Director is to assist the pastor in providing worship, preaching, teaching/leading Bible studies, and pastoral care. A major area of responsibility and emphasis will be developing, organizing, and overseeing the planning and leading of the youth ministry that will effectively engage youth in discipleship for Jesus Christ. This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow an established youth program. Skills Needed:
Knowledge of Biblical concepts, understanding of the practice of pastoral care, effective organizational skills, effective communicator; ability to delegate, recruit, and train volunteers; emotional and spiritual maturity; bachelor’s degree; previous experience preferred.
