and ourWe are searching an Industry Communities Specialist, who will ensure alignment, consistency, and efficient operations across the Communications & Technology and Media, Entertainment and Sport industry communities, in alignment with the vision, strategy and goals of the Global Industries Team. The Industry Communities Specialist will report into the Head of Communications & Technology Industries.**Responsibilities of the Industry Communities Specialist include:**• Coordinating and supporting the activities of the Communications & Technology (C&T) and Media, Entertainment and Sport (MES) Industry Communities, and ensuring efficient operations• Communicating with external and internal stakeholders to support the delivery of quality industry communities and related activities in a timely manner• Serving as the team’s internal point of contact for the management of Forum-wide internal processes and activities relevant to the both the C&T and MES industry communities• Conduct desktop research on company news, strategic priorities and major investments to inform the curation of the Forum value proposition for partners in these industries; providing research and organization support to team as needed• Providing support for the maintenance of the C&T and MES industry communities’ records in our systems and databases (e.g., Governors and Strategy Officers Communities)**To be successful, the Industries Communities Specialist should:**• Contribute to the operational efficiency of the team by supporting and coordinating industry communities’ activities and making best use of current and future process and digital tools• Ensure seamless execution of the communities’ activities and workshops across all Forum events• Respond to requests in a timely manner, provide administrative support as needed and ensure industry communities’ records are kept up to date• Identify areas for continuous improvement and streamlining of the team’s process and approach**Requirements and preferred experience**• Bachelor’s degree in a
related field• 2+ years of relevant experience with a focus on strategy coordination, project management and/or process improvement• Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with and manage expectations of senior executives and their staff with confidence• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel) and Salesforce• Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously• Demonstrate excellent organizational, project and time management skills, and possess high attention to detail• Exceptional organizational skills and a strong work ethic• Responsible, independent, and self-driven; Self-starting, independent thinker who thrives as a flexible team player**Why work at the Forum:**The Forum believes that progress happens by bringing together people from all walks of life who have the drive and the influence to improve the state of the world by building awareness and cooperation, shaping mindsets and agendas, and driving collective action.
