What You’ll Do: Blue Ridge Health is seeking an experienced
Associate Clinical Director
to provide day-to-day clinical and programmatic leadership for Adult Basic Benefit and Adult Enhanced Services. This role partners closely with the Clinical Director to ensure high-quality, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed care across multiple adult service programs.
The Associate Clinical Director provides clinical oversight, supervision, quality assurance, and staff development while also maintaining
8–10 hours per week of direct service , including clinical work, supervision, or grant-related responsibilities. Job responsibilities include:
Provide clinical oversight and leadership for
ACTT, SAIOP, PSR, REC, and Supported Employment
programs
Ensure fidelity to evidence-based and service model standards (ACTT, IPS-SE, SAIOP, PSR)
Supervise clinicians and team leads, including clinical, administrative, and substance use licensure supervision
Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Monitor service quality, outcomes, compliance, and documentation standards
Conduct chart audits, KPI review, and quality improvement activities
Lead or support crisis response, critical incident reviews, and high-risk case consultations
Oversee after-hours on-call coverage and provide support to on-call clinicians
Collaborate with medical, operations, quality, and community partners
Model trauma-informed, recovery-oriented leadership and ethical clinical practice
What We’re Looking For:
Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
Fully licensed LCSW, LCMHC, or Licensed Psychologist
LCAS required
CCS required or eligible for CCS-I within 90 days of hire
Minimum 8 years of clinical experience
Significant experience providing clinical supervision
Experience working with adult mental health and substance use populations
Strong crisis intervention and risk assessment skills
Experience with trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care
Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and support staff development
Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
