Sales Team Lead - Investment Technology AI Double Down Group is offering a Sales Manager / Lead position at one of our investment technology AI clients. This is a hybrid role based in NYC. Base salary is $175,000–$200,000 per year plus On‑Target Earnings. Ten or more years of experience selling SaaS to hedge funds, investment banks, or private markets firms and two or more years of SaaS sales management is required.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and nurture a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue targets.

Drive sales initiatives and coverage models across designated teams through point‑of‑sale coaching and real‑time feedback.

Guide team account strategy and execution planning.

Support teams in career growth and developmental opportunities.

Analyze and interpret data to establish trends and drive calculated sales behavior.

Work directly with the team to ensure key performance metrics and goals are achieved.

Partner with Sales Engineers and BDRs to support the development and delivery of sales training programs, including new‑hire onboarding, continuous learning, product training, and skills workshops.

Complete weekly pipeline forecasting, identifying all risks to the firm’s bottom line.

Work closely with Finance during compensation and incentive planning periods.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to close sales effectively.

Write and deliver year‑end reviews.

Interview and evaluate potential new hires.

Partner with other business units to drive adoption in key accounts.

Collaborate with other departments, such as the company’s client success and product teams, to enhance the customer experience.

Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.

Requirements

Two or more years of proven experience as a Sales Manager or Player/Coach in the investment technology industry.

Ten or more years of experience selling SaaS products to private markets, hedge funds, or investment banking clients.

Experience motivating team members or individuals to achieve performance goals in a direct leadership capacity or as a peer.

Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

Proven ability to work cross‑functionally to promote collaboration and transparency across the organization.

Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to think calmly and creatively under pressure.

A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.
