The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Philanthropy to serve as an operational model of excellence and sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a robust fundraising program that supports the financial strength and resources of the network, with a focus on enhancing the purpose and well-being of people with disabilities, their families, and the community. This role involves leading the diversification of philanthropic income sources, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, and managing a comprehensive program that encompasses major and planned gifts, annual giving, strategic partnerships, and special events. The Executive Director will also be instrumental in designing and leading philanthropic strategies, ensuring synergy and maximizing the return on investment for both local and network-wide fundraising efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in personal solicitation and income diversification, and will be adept at navigating a collective fundraising operation that spans multiple entities. They will be expected to lead a team of development professionals, engage with the President and CEO, Board members, and Affiliate Executives in donor outreach, and provide effective support to strengthen a culture of philanthropy across the organization. Additionally, the Executive Director will serve as the primary liaison to the Foundation's Board of Directors, managing the Foundation's annual budget and ensuring fiscal integrity and sustainability. The role requires a results-oriented leader with the ability to inspire giving, deepen engagement, and strengthen the collective philanthropic impact of the network.
