Job Title: Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO)
Job Location: Danville, VA (NOT REMOTE)
About us: The primary purpose of the Mortgage Loan Officer is to help Beacon Credit Union fulfill its mission of being “Dedicated to Our Member’s Financial Success.” This role also involves selling mortgage loan products to our qualified members.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The role involves conducting loan interviews and securing the necessary customer information to initiate loan transactions.
Take mortgage loan applications, analyze data, and solicit new mortgage business.
Maintain good external relationships and promote the organization’s products and services.

Experience with:
FHA, VA, and Fannie Mae
Construction loans
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Maintain active registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
NMLS Number.
Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Valid and current Driver’s License.
