Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mortgage Loan Officer, based in Woodbury, NY. Responsibilities include originating and managing residential mortgage loan applications, guiding clients through the mortgage process, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Mortgage Loan Officer will develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with clients, realtors, and other industry professionals. Additional responsibilities include evaluating applicants’ financial situations, recommending appropriate loan products, and coordinating with underwriting and processing teams to finalize loans.

Qualifications

Experience as a Loan Officer and familiarity with the Mortgage Industry

Knowledge in Mortgage Lending and understanding of Underwriting protocols

Excellent Customer Service skills and ability to build strong client relationships

Effective communication, organizational, and time management abilities

Ability to navigate loan programs such as FHA, VA, and Conventional

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to compliance and accuracy

Proven ability to work independently in a results-driven environment

Licensure requirements as per the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS)

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred

Familiarity with Long Island and New York lending markets is a plus
