Blue Sea Educational Consulting is a unique company comprised of a Professional Collaborative, bringing together diverse professions such as education, psychology, social work, behavior intervention, speech, occupational and physical therapies, and the law.
We currently serve over 75 school districts across Long Island. This creates ample opportunities for providers to take on a flexible case load that may reflect full-time, part-time, or individual case load opportunities.
Position Description This is an independent contracting position for psychological testing, analyses, and report writing for school aged-children. Evaluators should be familiar assessing diagnoses and comorbidities, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, school refusal behaviors, ODD, ADHD, and ASD.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychosocial interviews
Utilize appropriate related cognitive, educational, and behavioral assessments
Write reports
Requirements
Master’s Degree in School Psychology and NYS Certification, or Doctoral Degree in School, Clinical, or Counseling Psychology with NYS License.
Proficiency in Psychological Testing, Analysis, and Report Writing.
Familiarity with bilingual psychological assessment procedures and report writing, ethical standards, and culture-fair best practices.
