Our client, a Japanese Freight Forwarding company, is looking for a Customs Brokerage Agent to join their team.

At least 1-2 years of US customs brokerage or Entry Writer experience Knowledge of US Customs Tariff, Fish & Wildlife Service, FDA, and USDA filing requirements Experience with air/ocean import freight release Basic computer skills Bilingual in Japanese is a big plus Job Duties:
Preparing and submitting necessary documentation for customs clearance, including import/export declarations, invoices, and other required forms Calculating and ensuring proper payment of customs duties, taxes, and fees for clients Communicating with carriers and customers via telephone and email Filing documents in a timely manner Tracking shipments and providing updates to customers Coordinating delivery scheduling and ensuring carrier compliance
