The Position Our community bank client is seeking a Personal Banker in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will handle customer service functions and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
The position offers a salary of up to $70K plus incentives and excellent benefits.
(This is not a remote position)
Responsibilities include:
Manage customer bank accounts; open, close, and oversee transactions
Resolve issues with banking services and accounts
Answer customer inquiries via phone regarding deposits and basic loans
Perform account maintenance and updates
Follow bank operating procedures
Complete reporting tasks as assigned
Escalate issues to supervisors when necessary

Skills and experience include:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least two years of customer service experience
Experience in loan sales, application processing, and loan closing
Understanding credit reports, loan stipulations, scheduling closings, and processing documents
Ability to sell ancillary insurance products
Strong relationship-building skills within the bank
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
