Under the direction of the Branch and/or Production Manager, the Loan Originator markets and promotes PrimeLending products and services to clients including realtors, builders, bank officers, and potential and past clients. Performs work related to the management or general business operations of PrimeLending and its customers. Responsibilities
Evaluate PrimeLending’s and other loan products to determine the best options for customers based on their financial circumstances. Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and sales representatives, including visiting subdivisions as needed. Market and promote PrimeLending’s financial products. Meet the company's minimum production standards by taking complete and accurate loan applications using PrimeLending’s products. Monitor the loan process from application to closing, ensuring customer interaction and communication with all parties involved. Gather and analyze customer financial information such as income, assets, and debts. Advise customers on different loan products, explaining their advantages and disadvantages. Service existing customers and gather necessary documents, fees, and lock-in information. Oversee the loan process, monitor status, and ensure compliance with terms. Communicate loan status to all parties and collect documentation after closing. Present loan terms and conditions to customers. Stay informed about local real estate market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments. Maintain a professional image and adhere to company policies and standards. Potentially supervise other loan officers, assistants, or processors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, with appropriate state licenses. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. At least 12 months of loan originator experience. Ability to interact with regional and corporate departments, realtors, builders, and other industry professionals. Strong judgment, decision-making, and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to analyze large data sets and utilize relevant software technology. Active community involvement and professional networking. Commitment to ongoing industry knowledge and professional development.
