LHH is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Paralegal to join our client’s law firm in their Atlanta office. This role supports attorneys handling complex real estate transactions, particularly those involving affordable housing initiatives and public financing. The candidate must bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate law, with prior experience in transactions involving low-income housing tax credits and government-funded developments. Responsibilities
Review title commitments, title documents, and surveys to identify issues and ensure compliance. Analyze zoning and environmental reports for property suitability. Coordinate with title agents and surveyors to revise documents during due diligence. Manage and organize corporate and transactional documentation for financing and regulatory submissions. Draft closing documents for real estate acquisitions. Prepare entity formation materials, including articles of incorporation/organization and operating agreements. Create consent resolutions and incumbency certificates. Maintain strong client relationships to facilitate efficient information gathering. Oversee and manage the closing process from start to finish. Maintain organized digital and physical files using a records management system. Assemble and finalize closing binders. Engage in daily client communication. Occasional overtime may be required. Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a real estate paralegal in a law firm or real estate-focused organization. Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools is a must. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
