We have a great opportunity for a savvy marketer with charismatic personality and advanced leadership skills to manage the sales process and the leasing team at a large apartment community in Forestville, MD! The leasing manager is responsible for achieving the sales & occupancy goals established by the property manager and will: Oversee and manage the sales process within the leasing office Ensure expediting, tracking and completion of all applications within required timelines Motivate, lead, supervise, train and coach a team of 4 leasing professionals Quickly develop an extensive knowledge of company policies; consistently execute and comply with those standards Have keen market awareness Track economic indicators Use marketing and advertising tools to secure a growing traffic/lead base Monitor, manage and maximize all online advertising platforms Achieve and maintain the highest possible occupancy and rates while sustaining prospect quality Create an environment with good employee and resident relations Essentials of the Job

Team motivation and leadership Team training and development, incl. ensuring that the leasing team adheres to all company and community rules, regulations and policies Development of short- and long-term marketing plans Meet occupancy goals Ensure that apartments are inspected daily for market readiness Ensure total customer service in the leasing department Extensive knowledge about competitors or have the ability to gain swift knowledge of the sub-market Cooperate with the property manager, customer service manager and team, maintenance manager and team, marketing manager and all other departments of the community. Interdepartmental facilitation is critical, in particular with customer service department and maintenance department Required Skills and Qualifications

Successful prior experience as a leasing manager or property manager at a large property with a large team Proven team management experience and skills Outstanding interpersonal and commutation skills Leadership qualities Ability to achieve goals through others: setting, tracking, training, coaching, and achieving Exceptional sales, marketing and customer service experience Strong administrative capabilities, as well as process management, organization and production Social media marketing experience / tech-savvy with multiple platforms: CraigsList, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok Outgoing, professional, dependable and conscientious personality Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations Data mining & statistical analysis skills Financial acumen with the ability to contribute to rent growth and overall property performance Strong administrative capabilities Professional, polished appearance and conduct at all times Resourceful in coping with a variety of situation Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation OneSite by RealPage skills are a plus Knock CRM software platform (follow up and lead generation) knowledge is a plus Contact
