We are seeking a proactive, people-focused
Leasing Manager
to support leasing performance across a small, stable portfolio. This is a
newly created role
designed for someone who operates above the traditional leasing function and enjoys blending leasing strategy, team support, and creative problem-solving. This position is
portfolio-based and floating , with a corporate home base and regular on-site presence at multiple communities. While one property will require heavier initial support, the Leasing Manager will contribute across the full portfolio, providing insight, guidance, and hands-on leasing support as needed. The ideal candidate is observant, collaborative, and comfortable making thoughtful recommendations around leasing strategy, prospect targeting, and light marketing initiatives. This role supports and guides marketing efforts but is not responsible for executing all day-to-day marketing tasks. What You’ll Do
Leasing Strategy & Performance Support
Partner with on-site leasing teams to drive traffic, conversions, and occupancy Step in as a hands-on leasing resource when needed, including touring, follow-up, and closing Review leasing performance, traffic patterns, and lead sources to identify opportunities Offer insight on pricing, promotions, and renter demographics based on on-site observations Ensure consistent leasing standards, follow-up practices, and CRM utilization across communities Marketing Input & Visibility
Provide recommendations on marketing strategy, spend, and positioning Review online listings, photography, and overall digital presence across platforms Suggest creative ideas for social media, outreach, and branding to improve visibility and lead quality Partner with third-party marketing vendors and help assess performance and ROI Help define the ideal renter profile and identify effective ways to reach them Portfolio & Team Support
Float between communities to support leasing needs and gain first-hand operational insight Serve as a trusted resource for leasing staff and leadership Assist with training, best practices, and process improvements Share regular insights, trends, and performance feedback with ownership and leadership Operations & Compliance
Ensure leasing practices align with Fair Housing regulations and company standards Support renewals, retention strategies, and resident experience initiatives Assist with reporting and leasing performance tracking Ideal Background
Multifamily leasing experience preferred but not required Experience in assistant property management, hospitality, sales, education, healthcare, or other people-centered roles encouraged Comfort using property management and CRM systems such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or similar Genuine interest in marketing, branding, and digital presence A natural inclination to take initiative and improve processes Skills & Traits
