Specialty Account Manager, Auvelity (Bakersfield, CA) – field-based role focused on executing commercial activities for assigned geographies and promoting AUVELITY for major depressive disorder in adults, with potential future indications. Role requires engaging with clinics and hospitals, and leveraging digital channels to maximize reach. Responsibilities
Engage with customers through virtual and live interactions Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual goals Promote AUVELITY within approved labeling in a compliant, ethical manner Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs Serve as a resource on payer policies and processes (eligibility/benefit verification, prior-authorization, appeals/denials) Maximize use of marketing resources to grow prescribing confidence Communicate territory activity accurately and timely to management Provide feedback to sales, marketing, and other internal teams about market changes and results Complete training and administrative duties in a timely fashion Manage efforts within the assigned promotional budget Collaborate across corporate functions and attend medical congresses as needed Ensure timely access for patients through patient services and savings programs Overnight travel as required Additional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Minimum of 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management; minimum of 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with relevant CNS experience preferred 5 years of consistent top performance in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales Psychiatry/CNS experience strongly preferred Launch experience strongly preferred Residence in the territory Experience in cross-functional collaboration and strategic planning Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines Strong digital marketing aptitude and excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills Willingness to drive frequently and be physically able to perform required duties Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform overhead reaching as needed Salary & Benefits
