About the Role
A Top 100 independent insurance broker seeks an experienced
Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager
to join their Charlotte office where the team has had incredible success this year. They’ve written so much new business that they’ve created this senior-level client manager to assume a lot of new clients which are across a variety of industries with some concentration in areas like manufacturing and private equity. Large account experience along with a great understanding of the total risk analysis and renewal management process is crucial for this role.
Hybrid schedule is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Be one of the first points of contact for clients, working with them and the producer on timely responses to inquiries, coverage reviews, and renewal preparation
Keep a close eye on service delivery, assisting junior associates with accurate information gathering and review, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate records in the agency management system
Stay abreast of market changes; strengthen insurance company partnerships and seek out new and creative solutions that meet the everchanging exposures for your clients
Skills & Experience
Minimum five (5) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in client management
Upper middle market account exposure is required, consistently handling $50k revenue accounts and up; $100k+ revenue account expertise even more desirable
Active state insurance license
