works cooperatively to oversee the student housing facility, address daily issues with occupants, and provide a safe, supportive environment for students to enhance their college experience. Under the supervision of the

Head Soccer Coach , the

Assistant Soccer Coach

is responsible for managing all aspects of the men's and women's collegiate soccer programs. Responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling, practice planning, coaching, fundraising, scouting, video analysis, supporting academic success, field maintenance, and other coaching duties. Northeast Texas Community College is a member of the NJCAA Division I and Region XIV Athletic Conference. Governance of intercollegiate athletics involves administration, coaches, and the Board of Trustees, adhering to all applicable regulations. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reside in the residence hall and share on-call duties with the Director of Housing. Attend workshops, training, and meetings as scheduled by the Director of Housing. Collaborate with the recruitment and admissions office to attract students. Create a quality housing environment to attract students and athletes. Record and address disciplinary issues using the citation system. Supervise residence hall policies, discipline, and citations; refer issues to the Housing Director as needed. Assist with security arrangements for the housing facility. Coordinate with maintenance for facility upkeep. Understand the layout and safety features of the facility. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Housing. 60% of time will be dedicated to field coaching, including practice, field maintenance, conditioning, health monitoring, game coaching, and warm-ups. 40% of time will involve other duties such as monitoring student behavior, scheduling classes, managing purchase orders and travel vouchers, fostering program involvement, coordinating transportation, overseeing academic policies, housing placements, and other responsibilities. POSITION CHARACTERISTICS:

This role requires multi-tasking, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with students, faculty, administration, and the community. The individual must support a competitive program and foster a positive environment for all students. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree required. Collegiate playing and coaching experience preferred. Candidate must have or obtain a

CDL
